The Approach.

Execution + integration.

Why train workplace meditation?

Attention.

It’s the attention economy. More information is coming at us than ever before and it's reducing attention spans. Attention training allows your staff to focus on what’s in front of them. They achieve more in less time; making best use of it.

Serenity.

Being calm and peaceful; regardless of the circumstances faced. When you enter into serenity, you change yourself. You live as an inner being. And when you look after your inner world, the outer world looks after itself.

Attitude.

The way of feeling or acting toward a person or situation, makes a big difference. Having an attitude of equanimity gives benefits like: no stress, a clear head, patience; and leads to increases in productivity & a good environment.

Insight.

New ideas, innovation and those ‘aha’ moments occur when the mind is spacious. For many it happens in the shower or toilet; but not at work. Develop the minds of employees to soar to previously unattainable heights of insight.

Stages of engagement.

Thinking.

It all begins with an idea. It’s that spark telling you it could be better. A logical concept to improve the performance and wellbeing of your staff; your workplace.

Doing.

This is the chasm of endless reps, facing challenges and adversity. It is where you put the knowing into practice. It’s hard. It’s supposed to be…as is anything worthwhile.

Being.

Where the magic happens. The integration. You are no longer the logical concept. It’s who you are or your organisation is. This is where flow states occur.

The Practice.

Simple, secular and evidence based methods that help the mind be healthier and less distracted.

Formal.

The ‘Gym for the Mind’
Training mental skills of attention, awareness and attitude.

Informal.

During the work day.
Function mindfully & equanimously while in the course of daily activities.

What’s the reward at work?

Being able to get more done in a normal day, with 50% less stress.

“TRAIN THE MIND TO BE

CALM, FOCUSED & CLEAR;

AND WATCH YOUR LIFE AND PERFORMANCE IMPROVE.”

— An insight

Client experiences…

"I had to lead a meeting full of people I had not met before on a subject matter I knew nothing about. This is the kind of thing that would ordinarily have completely stressed me out. But I just took it in my stride, stepped up to the challenge and ran the meeting. Feedback from others is that the meeting was really productive and that I was very efficient and calming."

CATHERINE CURTIS-WALSH,
Senior Lawyer, Victoria Legal Aid

It was a great way to share energy and experience something new that allowed me to be more connected with everyone I interacted with today in the office.  Our session was an appropriate amount of time to centre myself and get right back to work refreshed and ready to take on the day.  This is something that I will defiantly try and incorporate into each day at work and at home.

Head of Learning & Development, MYOB

Mr Meditate challenged my thinking, giving me the advice that eventually allowed me to practice – just let the thoughts come, acknowledge them and set them aside. I’ve not looked back. I’ve also noticed a shift in my attitude to work. I don’t take on problems as a personal affront and find it much easier to navigate roadblocks. I’m happier and more confident.
