It starts with the breath.

One breath at a time. Moment to moment.

Keep in mind the impermanence of every breath.

Each one arises; and passes away.

It's constantly changing.

Use it to 'arrive' (into your body, here and now); then release it (into the present moment) and let it go. 

And repeat. Over...and over again.

It'll help you to fall (and stay) awake to the life as it presents itself. Moment by moment.

We take an average of 8,500,000 breaths every year. That's 23,000 a day, 960 per hour or 16 breaths each minute.

Do it functionally, and you'll have a steady heart rate and store precious energy. Do it dysfunctionally, and watch anxiety breed and energy dissipate.

Learn to manage and navigate your breath; and you'll navigate any situation in life.

It is also a wonderful anchor, to keep you grounded in the present. To be where your body is. Here.
