World Mental Health Month - How corporate meditation can help.

World Mental Health month is simply another reminder to look after your most precious and valuable resource - your mind.

It's not only another intellectual and rational exercise where you 'think' it's a good idea to do something about it. Here, you actually 'do' something about it.

Corporate meditation is without rival the best self development thing you can do. Not only does it calm, focus and clear the mind (and that’s plenty!); it helps to balance and purify the mind. And no amount of money, possessions, promotions or servants; can serve you more than your own balanced and purified mind.

And all the little 1% improvements, make a big difference over time.

What you practice, you get good at.

Most people spend more time looking after their appearance, their cars and even their hair; than they do their mind.

Remember your brain is malleable. Every moment, your brain either enhances or depletes. It grows or goes into atrophy.

At any point in time, check in with what you practice. If you practice stability or stress (which by the way is your choice), then you get good at it.

It's up to you. Your choice.

Work consistently.

Often, taking time to look after your mind seems counter-intuitive...especially if it's during the course of your (busy day). Yet the busier you are, the more you need it.

Take time, to make the remaining time - better.

Remember, it only takes 10mins x 3 times per week to maintain the benefits.
