Your brain works better when rested.
When it comes to meditation, give it a proper trial and keep it simple.
Here are three tips:
1. Stuff motivation. Work with your intention, your ‘why’. Start small, but start.
2. Design it to suit you. Listen to prescribed methods, but find your own way.
3. Repetition. The secret to success is to keep going. Keep doing the work (being silent & still for 10 mins, 3 times a week - that's it), keep showing up.
Then watch the magic start to happen.
You:
> Notice more. That's important because what you notice, you can change.
> Are able to have more flow states. Little things make you happy.
> Become more composed and considered.
> Develop more #equanimity to ride life's ups and downs...because they're going to keep coming. To everyone. Their whole life.
After practicing for some time, this becomes completely obvious to you.
Only through experience can and will you know.
The brain works smarter when rested.
It allows other brain regions to connect.
You'll learn better and remember more.
