A fast mind is dangerous.
The continual mental health decline in society, can be attributed to fast minds.
Always-on, distracted, information overloaded.
Amid the digital deluge, we are overstimulated. We think too much.
In the thinking, is where most, if not all, of our problems exist.
And most of the thinking is ruminating in the past, or projecting into the future. The history or mystery.
What happens; is that we miss out on what is happening, here and now.
Being where your body is.
Fall awake...to the life as it's happening breath by breath; moment to moment.
Keeping 25% of your open attention (awareness) on the fact that you're breathing; helps you to stay grounded in the present. Hear and now.
Your brain.
You control the destiny of your brain architecture.
At every moment, your brain either grows; or is in atrophy.
It enhances or depletes.
And it all depends on what you practice.
If you practice stress; your brain changes; and you become good at being stressed.
If you practice calm; your brain changes; and you become good at being calm.
Consider what you practice.
