Making best use of precious time.
Meditation is useful because it can significantly reduce stress, anxiety, and negative emotions.
It improves focus, concentration, self-awareness, and overall well-being by training the mind to stay present in the moment without judgment, observing your own reality...as it is. A calmer and more balanced disposition naturally follows.
And this state of being, allows one to:
Make the best use of precious time.
Remember that every moment counts. In each moment, you have the ability to control a major thing, one that determines your experience...your attitude.
How you deal with circumstances (wanted or unwanted), is up to you.
Here's one of the most unpopular things I share with audiences:
Stress is a choice.
It's a reaction to the (unwanted) situation/s faced. You don't stress about good things do you?
So blaming work, your boss, partner or some external situation; is common practice.
Yet in training mental skills in attention and attitude (meditation), over time, little by little, you shift out of (blindly) reacting to circumstances, to (mindfully) responding to them.
And let's be real...we are all a work in progress with that one.
