10 years of corporate meditation

On Wednesday night, the City of Melbourne’s Lord Mayor Sally Capp AO presented a 10 year achievement award for Mr Meditate.

A HUGE thanks ❤️ to all who supported, encouraged and validated this business idea.

Yes, that's you! You are the one who's booked & participated, ideally benefitting by 1%+, every time.

I'm forever grateful.

10 years of persistence.

Similar to your career (I bet)...it hasn't always been easy and smooth sailing.

There have been ups and downs - ha!

From storms, setbacks and learning experiences (ha!)...to elation, pleasant surprises, harmony, deep connection with others...it's been a concoction of experiences.

Luckily, concentration, awareness & equanimity; are foundations of this corporate meditation work.

Otherwise, who knows...another crazy busy, stressed business owner may be around.

After 3,000 sessions and 65,000 participants, 10 years on the world needs this framework more than ever…why? Because our brains need breaks.🧠

*** NAB has been our biggest client with 1,300 sessions and counting - simply wow! ***

Thanks also to the doubters & cynics...your input helped to consider the negatives.

Luckily, just like in (film) photography, we use the negatives to develop the positives.

The business of slowing down.

Let's re-focus our precious attention as to why you're reading this blog.

Remember the reason/s you are drawn to this practice. What is it again?

It's your intention, and it's a big part of the way - helping you to continue to practice, even when you don't feel like it. And with continuity, over time, is where the magic happens.

Time to get out of the way.

Once you establish yourself in a conducive posture (both physical & mental), it's time to let go of 'trying' to make your intention happen.

Instead, cultivate the conditions, and allow the changes to happen...with ease, flow and spaciousness. It's an unravelling, revealing and useful thing to do.

Ground the mind in a non-conceptual mode.

The brain functions better when rested.
