These are the good old days.

Remember the good old days.

Have you ever reflected about the past, and reminisced the good 'ol times?

Bet you have. Pretty sure we all have (and do) at some point.

Often past memories are wonderful because of 'truth decay' - a tendency to 'dry-clean' the past and only pick out the fun or happy memories.

Yet, along the way, there were many ups and downs. Just like today.

It's like climbing a peak. Most of the memories (and photos) are at the top.

But what about all the effort and endurance it took to climb it?

All of these moments count as part of it too.

There is only (a perpetual) now.

Life only happens in this moment. You can only look at the sky in this moment.

Not in the past, that's history; nor in the future, that's a mystery.

Remember, you have a wonderful gift, each day - the present.

How you spend the present, the day-to-day, your moment to moment, makes all the difference to your experience.

Make the most of your precious time, keeping equanimous, jolly, cheerful as you go; regardless what comes your way.

Life is short. Be happy.
