A skill that improves ALL other skills.

Meditation is a skill that improves ALL other skills.

When one is mindful and balanced it enhances the enjoyment (and memory) of one's life.

Consider your performance when your stressed vs composed.

Think about the use of (precious) time when you're lost in thought vs present.

Relax...we are all a work in progress.

Meditation is essentially mental skills training in attention + attitude. It develops concentration, awareness, equanimity and gratitude. That's it.

It impacts one's (entire) life. They are foundational skills that underpin all else.

Look after your inner world; and the outer world looks after itself.

Side effects of practice.

There are many. They are all positive. If you know any negatives, please share them.

One of my favourites is more frequent attacks...of smiling! Careful, you will look and feel better too. It'll help you ride the waves of life's ups and downs with more flow and a stable disposition.

Objections.

One of the biggest objections is that meditation takes time. Yep, it does.

Yet it's an investment of time, to make the remaining time better.

It is more entertaining than Netflix could ever be!

It's a worthy endeavour. A useful thing to do. Not only do you benefit, so do all others who come into contact with you.

This can be grasped, not understood with rational and intellectual thought. To know, It must be experienced. Through you own discovery.

Things look the same after one step. After 1000 steps, everything is different.
